Last December, Magnetar introduced the UDP800 its first UHD Blu-ray player. The new UDP900 is another step up, for those who want to get the most out of their player. The device can play almost all video and audio discs and has analog 7.1-channel RCA inputs. HDMI, optical and coaxial connections are also provided.
The UDP900 also features a USB DAC for music, an improved dual power supply and a new six-layer motherboard. The UDP900 also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+, the device has a reinforced aluminum housing and a MediaTek MT8581 chip is built-in. USB hard disks up to 16TB can be connected for local media playback.
The Magnetar UDP900 comes with a price tag of no less than 2,500 euros and the device should soon be available at the first high-end retailers.
