The flagship model in the LG Tone Free Series is the new T90. Thanks to several upgrades, the T90 not only delivers excellent sound quality, but also deep bass. The ears are again made in collaboration with Meridian and the choice was made to use the material graphene. This should ensure that vibrations are kept to a minimum, so that, according to LG, a crystal clear sound with impressive bass can be produced.
Dolby Head Tracking
The LG Tone Free T90 are the first Dolby Atmos earbuds that also support Dolby Head Tracking. The sound is adapted to the head movements for a natural and spacious sound. It simulates that the listener is really in the middle of the sound with music, a scene from a movie or in the middle of a game. LG guarantees spatial audio packed with detail, depth and clarity. ANC is also present to filter out annoying outside noises. The three microphones should also ensure optimal sound quality when calling with the earphones in.
The T90’s charging case is a special UVnano charging case, where UV-C light helps keep the earbuds clean and kills 99.9 percent of bacteria in a 10-minute charge. And speaking of that charging. A single charge gives 9 hours of music listening, up to 27 hours with the charging case included. The charging case also offers the option of using a USB-C to aux cable, so the charging case works as a transmitter to use the wireless earbuds on the treadmill at your gym, the in-flight entertainment system on an airplane or simply on a radio At home.
LG also introduces the cheaper TF8 in the Tone Free Fit series. These are earbuds for active lifestyles with ANC, the UVnano charging case, IPX7 and a battery up to 30 hours.
Price and availability
The LG Tone Free T90 is launched in September in the United States. Looking at previous models in the Tone Free series, these earbuds will most likely appear here as well. Prices are not yet known.
