LG shows two new lifestyle TVs: Object TV and StanbyME

Object TV

The first television is the ‘Object TV’. A strange name, but this 65-inch model is somewhere between a painting and a trendy piece of furniture. The TV has an OLED EVO panel, so the quality will undoubtedly be good. The fabric cover (Kvadrat fabric) is unique, which you can move up and down at the touch of a button. This way you can watch a movie with a full screen, but also have the cover cover a large part of the screen so that only a clock is shown. Or leave a larger area of the screen free to show painting. The shape of the Object TV is also very special. It looks like a large canvas and all cables are incorporated. You can not only hang the Object TV, but also simply place it against the wall. There is also a built-in 80 Watt speaker to listen to music.

The Objet TV will be officially presented at CES 2022 in early January. Prices are not yet known, but according to Engadget you have to dig deep for it with a starting price of $ 8,381. You can choose from three different fabric covers in beige, redwood and green.

LG StanbyME

In addition to the Object TV, LG also comes with the StanbyME, a wireless TV on wheels with a built-in battery. The display is 27-inch and is mounted on a long pole on wheels. So you can take this television with you anywhere in the house. You can also rotate the screen to the desired angle. The built-in battery lets you watch for three hours without charging. The LG StanbyME will also be officially presented during CES 2022 in early January.
