LG is working on LG rollable OLED TV series. LG has shown prototypes of rollable OLED TVs several times including during IFA 2018 this year. But, possibly at the beginning of next year, the company will finally be able to release an OLED TV that is actually rolled up.

According to the sources of Engadget LG wants at CES 2019, a fair that takes place in Las at the beginning of January Vegas, launching a rollable OLED TV. The website would even have seen internal documents in which the presentation of the screen is discussed. Incidentally, these documents also speak of a folding smartphone with an OLED screen.

LG has been showing a few years in front when it comes to OLED technology. The display branch of the company can now produce OLED screens of a few millimeters thin, as we also see in the wallpaper oled-tv from the Korean manufacturer.

With a retractable screen the possibilities are further expanded . This way you could roll up the screen when it is not in use. And you can easily move the screen to another room. This in turn has the advantage that consumers prefer a larger screen.
