LG launches first bendable OLED television

LG launches first bendable OLED television. Proposed TV can be used in two positions; with a curved screen.

The LG OLED Flex LX3 is a 42-inch OLED television that can be used in two positions; with a curved screen for an optimal gaming experience and with a flat screen for comfortable TV viewing.

By means of a special button on the remote control, the user can set the curve (bending) of the screen itself. You can choose from two presets or bend the screen to your own liking in a maximum of 20 steps of 5 degrees. In addition, the screen can also be manually adjusted in height, which means that the screen is placed at an angle away from you or towards you.

The LG LX3 is mainly aimed at gamers who occasionally watch some movies and series. There are various gaming features available, including HDMI 2.1 with variable refresh rate (VRR), auto low latency mode (ALLM) and 4K120. AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync are also supported. LG has also added useful features, including a built-in game app with custom screensavers and shortcuts to Twitch and YouTube. Thanks to Multi View, you can watch multiple sources on the screen at the same time, such as a game and a YouTube stream.

It is not yet known what the LG OLED Flex TV will cost and when it will appear on the market.
