LG Display has announced plans to produce smaller OLED screens, including 32-, 34- and 39-inch panels, and transparent screens. Currently, the smallest OLED television available is 42 inches. However, with the launch of these new OLED screens, we can expect to see televisions and monitors with smaller screens in the near future.
The 32-inch OLED screens are expected to be used in new televisions, while the other screen sizes will be more suitable for monitors. Sony and Panasonic are among the manufacturers that currently offer OLED televisions in the 42-inch format.
LG Display has also announced that it will offer 30-inch and 77-inch transparent OLED panels, with the larger model intended for both commercial and home use. However, it is expected that these expensive screens will initially only be used for commercial purposes. The production of the larger model is scheduled to begin later this year. We can expect to see the first monitors and televisions that use these new OLED panels during CES 2024 in January.
