LG CS series OLED TV comes with new processor but without Evo panel

LG CS series OLED TV comes with new processor but without Evo panel. This article also include the prices of models of this series.

LG CS series OLED TV comes with new processor but without Evo panel: If you are looking for a new OLED TV from LG this year, this is an important article to read. LG is bringing an extra variant of the C-series OLED televisions on the market this year, but that variant does not come with the actual C-series specifications.

The LG CS series is a variant of the LG C2 series that has been announced for this year. We came across this CS variant earlier this week when the Prices of OLED televisions for 2022 were announced. This variant is a few hundred euros cheaper than the C2 series, but until today it was unclear what the difference is.

Thanks to a Tweet we now know that about Nicolas La Rocco and that’s a good thing. If you go to the store for a C2 series and you come home with a CS series, there is a chance that you will not get everything you expected. The CS-series models, like the C2-series models, come with the latest generation Alpha 9 Gen 5 processor and have WebOS 22. However, the CS-series, unlike the C2 series, does not come with the Evo panel that increases the brightness of the television. In this respect you actually get a C1 series from last year.

Simply put, the CS series is exactly between the 2021 C1 series and the 2022 C2 series. This is also reflected in the price, because depending on the size, the CS series is hundreds of euros cheaper than the C2 series. If you are going for an OLED television from LG this year, keep this in mind.
