LG Media Chair: LG massage chair with curved OLED screen: LG is working with a massage chair manufacturer on a semicircle chair that provides massage and entertainment. The entertainment comes in the form of a curved OLED screen from LG.
Where we now usually enjoy either a television while sitting on the couch or a massage with our eyes closed, LG and its partner plan to unite both in a massage chair. It has already done so, given the many photos that are already available of the tech furniture. The question is whether LG plans to actually release this innovation, or whether it is just to show what it has to offer.
LG Media Chair
It bent oled screen, which is bent on the horizontal axis instead of the more common vertical axis, can be rotated. The curve is 1500R and that is specially adapted to the seat, which runs in a kind of crescent. The screen is 55 inches and this special massage chair is now known as the Media Chair. Media Chair uses the speakers in the television screen, but also includes built-in speakers.
In addition, LG is introducing Virtual Ride. This is a kind of spinning bike with three 55-inch OLED screens on the front on which you can see an environment. So it seems as if you are cycling outside in a beautiful environment abroad, instead of really having to go outside and stay in the Netherlands. The screens are placed vertically and have a very sharp curve of 500R. It even seems to be the sharpest of a large screen ever. LG also does not want to market it, but only use it to show what it is capable of.
