LG 48-inch C2 oled TV seems to be more expensive than C1 series

LG 48-inch C2 oled TV seems to be more expensive than C1 series: The LG C2 series features the new OLED.EX panel that LG Display has developed. This panel offers a slightly higher brightness than the standard OLED panel that can be found in last year’s models. The C2 series will be available in 42-inch, 48-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, 77-inch and 97-inch variants.

LG has not yet officially announced the prices of the C2 series, but the British web store John Lewis has already put the 48-inch variant online prematurely. This television would be delivered from the beginning of March and will be priced at 1,399 British pounds. That represents an increase of £100 (based on the suggested retail price) over last year’s C1 series.

LG’s C series therefore seems to be slightly less affordable, but for those who are looking for an OLED TV for a smaller budget, there is still the B2 series and A2 series. Whether the larger models in the C2 series will also become more expensive than their predecessors is still unclear. They have the same OLED.EX panel but a slightly higher brightness than the 48-inch and 42-inch models.
