Leica announces Cine 1 ultra short throw projector

Leica announces Cine 1 ultra short throw projector. Find here for detail of the product.

The Leica Cine 1 combines Leica image quality in 4k on 80, 100, or 120-inch projection format, depending on the Cine 1 model, with the Dolby Atmos surround system. At the center is the projection system with triple RGB laser technology, which has a long lifespan of more than 25,000 hours and low energy consumption. This is completed by the optical system manufactured by Leica standards for cinematic experiences.

All three models have a native resolution of 1,920 by 1,080 pixels, a contrast ratio of 1000:1, a color gamut of 100% BT.2020, and a brightness of up to 3,000 lumens. There are also two HDMI 2.1 ports, an HDMI 2.0 port with ARC, and two USB ports.

The Leica Cine 1 has all the features of a classic smart TV, such as an intuitive, innovative TV interface (based on the VIDA platform) with voice control, an integrated triple tuner, Apple AirPlay, and direct access to streaming platforms. Dolby Vision, HDR10 +, and Filmmaker Fashion are supported for optimal reproduction. For the best possible projection, Leica recommends high-contrast screens with ALR (ambient light rejection), which are mounted flat on the wall and precisely matched to the Leica Cine 1. If you want more flexibility, you can opt for motorized roll-up front ALR screens ultra short throw projection. These screens are suitable for invisible integration into a piece of furniture.

From June 2023, the Leica Cine 1 will be available in the Netherlands at the Leica Store Amsterdam, Leica Store Lisse, and specialized TV and Hi-Fi Leica Home Cinema dealers in three different versions; 80, 100, and 120 inches. The suggested retail price of the Leica Cine 1 is €6,995 for the 80-inch model, €8,495 for the 100-inch model, and €8,995 for the 120-inch model.
