The Kobo Clara 2E comes with several improvements on board and is a new 6-inch e-reader. It is Kobo’s first e-reader made from recycled plastic and ocean-bound plastic, i.e. plastic that was on its way to end up in the ocean. The Kobo Clara 2E has a 6-inch HD E Ink Carta 1200 touchscreen with a resolution of 1,488 by 1,072 pixels.
ComfortLight Pro and a dark mode
The e-reader has ComfortLight Pro and a dark mode on board. By means of blue light reduction you can read quietly in the evening without this affecting your sleep. The dark mode is also calmer for the eyes. ComfortLight Pro lets you adjust the brightness and color temperature to your liking. The latest E Ink technology should provide better contrast.
The e-reader has 16 GB of onboard memory and has Bluetooth. This way you not only have space for thousands of different e-books, but you can also put audio books on this model. To be precise, 12,000 e-books or 75 audiobooks. The Kobo Clara 2E is also water resistant and has an IPX8 rating. This means that the e-reader is waterproof for up to 60 minutes in water up to two meters deep.
