KEF Mu3 Noise Canceling True Wireless has been announced. The KEF Mu3 has also been developed by the brand’s acoustics team, which is based in the United Kingdom. The earplugs must reproduce a clear, high-resolution sound.

The earplugs also feature a splash-proof design, allowing them to withstand all kinds of weather conditions. The built-in battery lasts up to nine hours. And if you take the storage box and charging cabinet with you, you can extend the lifespan to 24 hours of listening.
The KEF Mu3 has specially tuned active noise cancellation (also called noise canceling). The technique allows the Mu3 to eliminate external noise without affecting the details that bring the music to life.
Inside the earplugs are dynamic full-range drivers, measuring 8.2 millimeters. Not only should they provide an “exceptionally dynamic and
well-balanced sound ”, but also for“ rich mids, detailed bass and clear highs ”. These are aspects that we are only too happy to test ourselves before we make any statements about them.
Design of the Mu3
Ross Lovegrove is once again responsible for the design of a KEF product. A collaboration had already been set up for speakers such as Muon and Muo. Lovegrove is known for flowing, sculptural shapes; such design aspects must also be reflected in the design of the earplugs.
There is also an ergonomic design, so that the Mu3 earplugs also remain in place when you wear them. In that case, it should not matter whether you are sitting on the couch or exercising. The earphones come with silicone domes in four different sizes to provide the most customized fit for your ears.
The earplugs have bluetooth 5.0 and can be used on devices with both Android and iOS. The Mu3s also have an Ambient Mode, in which active noise canceling is switched off at the touch of a button and you can see what is happening around you.
