Audi manufacturer JBL introduces the JBL Xtreme 2 this week, a portable speaker with updated drivers and bass. According to the manufacturer, this model is ideal for the summer months.

The summer is all about activities in, on or near the water. That is why JBL has made the Xtreme 2 completely waterproof. If you dive – by mistake or not – with the Bluetooth speaker, then that is not a problem. With the opener, processed in the strap, you can also open a drink. That strap is attached to two hooks, so you can hang up the speaker. Finally, the rubber bumpers together with the sturdy metal housing ensure that the speaker is well protected.
The battery of the Xtreme 2 lasts almost a full day – up to fifteen hours. But you can also choose to charge your phone with that extra power. There is a USB port incorporated in the speaker. The loudspeaker can also be connected to hundreds of other JBL Connect + speakers.
Price and availability
The Xtreme 2 is now available both online and in store for a retail price of 299 euros. The portable speaker is available in the colors Forest Green, Ocean Blue and Midnight Black.
