JBL, now part of the Harman Luxury Audio umbrella, is introducing the JBL 4309, a new monitor loudspeaker – the occasion is the 75th anniversary of the traditional brand.

The JBL 4309 is based on the award-winning two-way model JBL 4349 (which is much more expansive with its 12-inch woofer) and comes with a 6.5-inch driver for the low-midrange and a 2-inch that plays from 1.6 kHz -Compression driver for the treble, which is a so-called High definition imaging horn was prepended.
A trim switch enables the high frequency range to be lowered or raised by up to 1 dB. The two sets of gold-plated terminals allow single and bi-wiring.

The compact speaker, which has received a Red Dot Design Award, weighs 11 kilograms each, has a blue baffle and a body with glossy wood veneer (walnut), but can also be ordered in black with a fabric grill of the same color. The new speakers will be available in June 2021.
