A new, conceptually down-to-earth tuning product comes from IsoAcoustics – namely a decoupling base for subwoofers. Because the sound should be transmitted as completely as possible through the air and not via the ground.
IsoAcoustics Aperta Sub – technical details
The Aperta Sub consists of an aluminum base with a total of four double decoupling units. The upper half decouples the subwoofer from the aluminum base, the lower half in turn decouples the base from the floor. The special arrangement of these four elements is intended to ensure that the kinetic energy is centered – regardless of whether the heavy bass chassis is placed on the side, front or back of the subwoofer. Of course, this doesn’t only work on smooth floors: Four special washers also allow the subwoofer to be installed on the carpet.
The IsoAcoustics Aperta Sub can carry subwoofers up to a maximum weight of 36 kilograms. They are now available from specialist retailers or through the cma audio sales department.
IsoAcoustics Aperta Sub price: 179.99 euros
