The “Reed Muse 3A” turntable was innovatively designed using the principles of the Bauhaus style. This turntable meets the highest quality requirements.

The entire body of this turntable (including the back) is made of birch plywood, making it durable, stable, and non-resonant. Depending on the customer’s choice, this “Muse 3A” model could be coated in three different colors: carnelian red, white and black. The platter, which rises slightly above the main body, and the hidden supports (feet) create the illusion of a light, almost suspended object, although the turntable is quite heavy.

The main bearing system of the “Muse 3A” model is the same as that of the “Muse 3C” model. It is a reverse sliding thrust ball bearing for a main shaft. The bearing ball is made of stainless steel, and lateral stability is achieved using a durable, silent sliding bearing.

The “Muse 3A” turntable has a user-changeable drive system. It can be easily changed to a belt or friction drive (same as Muse 3C). The main difference between the “Muse 1C”, “Muse 3C,” and “Muse 3A” models is that the “Muse 3A” uses a single, powerful, and precision coreless DC motor. A system like this ensures less noise from the drive system that can be transferred to the LP and cartridge.

The “Muse 3A” turntable has a digital control system indicator, which specifies the platter’s rotation speed and other important information from the operating system. In addition, the screen shows an inclinometer connected to a very precise level, which is important for correct horizontal adjustments.

“Muse 3A” allows a customer to mount one or two arms (center or offset mounting possible), with effective length from 9.5″ to 12″ inclusive.
