It is always questionable to what extent new Huawei products are coming to our country, but in this case the press release left little to be desired. The Huawei Watch D and the Nova 10-series smartphones are coming to theEurope anyway. Possibly the MatePad 10 Pro also at a later time.
Huawei Watch D
As we know, Huawei wearables can be used perfectly in the Netherlands, even with the ban on Google apps. Recently we were very positive about the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro. The just-announced Huawei Watch D is also a high-end model, bringing advanced health monitoring to the wrist, including a blood pressure monitor and real-time EKG. This model, like other smartwatches from Huawei, are now medically certified in Europe. The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro mentioned above should now also have the previously promised ECG function on board.
The Huawei Watch D is light and weighs only 40.9 grams. The wearable has more than 70 workout programs and multiple health monitoring functions, such as all-day SpO2 monitoring, skin temperature detection and stress monitoring. In combination with the smart mode, the wearable offers a battery life of 7 days. Nice extra: Huawei’s wearables now also offer direct support for Strava.
Huawei Nova 10 and Nova 10 Pro
New smartphones from Huawei also come to the Netherlands via the manufacturer’s website. No Google apps and services, so that’s something to keep in mind. The Huawei Nova 10 and Nova 10 Pro emphasize the latest photography trends. They have a 60 megapixel Ultra-Wide Angle front facing camera that can record 4K videos. On the back we find a 50 megapixel camera. The smartphones also have high screen refresh rates and the ability to charge quickly. The HUAWEI nova 10 Pro has a thickness of only 7.88 mm and the nova 10 is even thinner at 6.88 mm.
Huawei MatePad Pro
Not yet announced for the Dutch market, but who knows, we might see this tablet in the future. The Huawei MatePad Pro comes in an 11-inch and a 12.6-inch. In both cases it is a 120Hz OLED screen. Both tablets work with the Huawei M Pencil.
Price and availability of MatePad Pro, Nova 10 series and Watch D
The Huawei Watch D is expected in the Europe at the end of 2022 and is available through selected channels for a target price of 399 euros. The Huawei nova 10 (499 euros) and the Huawei nova 10 Pro (649 euros) will be available through the Huawei Store.
