Geforce and Android TV devices : more devices are compatible now

Geforce and Android TV devices: Nvidia has quietly released an update to the Geforce Now application, bringing more Android TV devices to support the service. It used to be that the game streaming service could only be used on the Nvidia Shield, but that is now slowly changing.

Geforce and Android TV devices : more devices are compatible now

It is not surprising that Nvidia suddenly takes this step. Earlier this year, the company already announced that Geforce Now would also come to other devices. So it was only a matter of time before other Android TV devices got their turn. Two Android TV televisions are registered on my personal account and the app is now available on only one of the two (the Philips 55OLED804 ). So it is equally exciting whether your TV is now also there, but you can now check that by going to the page in Google Play .

In principle, any Android TV device with Android TV 5.0 or higher is now supported. There must also be at least 2 GB of RAM and the TV in question must support OpenGL ES 3.2. Technically, this means that the majority of Android TV media players and most Android TV televisions can access Geforce Now. If you want to know more or the game streaming service, you can read all about it here . In this article, we’ll also cover all the other options related to game streaming .
