Free version Spotify now also works with Spotify Connect speakers
Music Streaming Service Spotify has informed that users of the free subscription now also enables use of Spotify Connect. This is a platform for Wi-Fi speakers that allows listeners to send their music to a connected speaker on the Wi-Fi network very quickly and start listening immediately without a pairing process. However, before this group of users can enjoy the function, hardware manufacturers must provide the speakers in question with an update.
This update ensures that the software development kit is up to date again, after which the new function is activated. Recently, Spotify gives free users more freedom. For example, fifteen playlists are now being created in which people can decide for themselves which songs they listen to although of course an ad must still be listened to now and then.
