Fitbit on your TV: Android TV will soon able to connect with Nest speakers – Soon it may be possible to wirelessly send sound from your Android TV or Chromecast with Google TV to your Nest smart speakers or third-party speakers. Google is working on an integration between smart speakers and your television. Your smart Google Nest speakers, such as the Nest Audio or the Nest Mini can soon serve as a wireless speaker for your Android TV or Google TV devices.
Google wants to connect multiple devices anyway, because the search engine giant wants to bet even more on smarthome and give the user more control. Recently it was announced that the Live feed from the Nest Cam and Nest Doorbell can now be seen on your Chromecast with Google TV. This function must also be further integrated within Android TV and Google TV from now until 2024. The company is now setting requirements for manufacturers who will use Android TV and Google TV, including about the available storage memory. For example, it should soon become easier for users to operate the smart home and, for example, view the images from security cameras on the TV.
Fitbit on your TV
For some time now, Google has also been owner of Fitbit and there would also be further integration with Android TV and Google TV devices, including interactive video workouts where you can immediately see all fitness and health information measured by the Fitbit on your television.
The above plans are said to have been discussed behind closed doors within Google, but have now come out through a leak. The information is therefore subject to change.
