The Chinese brand EZVIZ has presented a new smart outdoor camera that has two built-in floodlights. With those two spotlights, the EZVIZ LC1C smart outdoor camera can also perfectly screen intruders and other people who do not belong somewhere in the evening, as there is sufficient light available. The camera system has motion detection and can detect people. The lamps have a power of 2000 lumens.

The 270 degree sensor can spot intruders in a wide area. There is also night vision with a range of 25 meters. There is also a siren on board with a capacity of 100 decibels. If the lights don’t scare off intruders, that hellish sound will undoubtedly do.
The camera is able to turn to a movement; this also explains the wide field of view of the system. You can connect the system to an existing lighting system or use it as an independent unit. In both cases it is recommended to have the installation done by a professional.
Furthermore, there are powerful WiFi antennas on board, according to EZVIZ, which must ensure that the camera system does not lose its connection. There are also standard features on the system, such as two-way audio (so you can talk to someone in the garden from the app) and you can manually control the lights. You switch them on and off and can adjust the brightness.
The microphone picks up audio up to five meters away. That mic also has a filter that filters background noise, so that you can hear someone perfectly. If something unexpected happens, the camera will immediately send a notification to your smartphone.
The EZVIZ LC1C supports Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and IFTTT. You can use the cloud for your recordings, but you can also push a micro SD card up to 256 GB into the system. Images are created in the H.265 codec. Finally, there is an ip65 certificate.
Price and availability
The camera is already available in the United Kingdom for a converted amount of 206 euros.
