Last week, during IFA 2022, Eve showed know and see that many of the company’s products will be equipped with Thread and will therefore offer support for Matter in the future. This means that the company no longer focuses only on Apple HomeKit but also on all other platforms that support Matter.
Eve’s range of smart home products is expanding rapidly and most products support the Thread communication protocol. This will allow support for the Matter standard being added. Thanks to Matter, devices from different manufacturers can communicate with each other without any problems. These devices can also be used within all major platforms, including HomeKit, Google Home and SmartThings.
Eve’s Android app is expected to be released at the same time as Matter’s launch. Details have not yet been disclosed, but Matter should be made available officially this fall.
