EA has lost the PGA Tour license and another publisher takes over

Electronic Arts is known as the publisher with a considerable portfolio of sports licenses, but this year they lost one. Where the developer also took care of the golf titles, it is now the turn of another party. HB Studios will take over the PGA Tour license this year and so no Tiger Woods or Rory Mcllroy game comes from EA anymore.

This does not mean that the new title of HB Studios contains just as much as the titles of EA, because their license is a lot less complete. The sponsors and jobs are included within the deal, but not the players themselves. It is not such a complete deal as EA had, but EA has lost the entire deal now, so the chances of a new golf title from them this year or next year seem small.

The trailer of the new game can you check below.
