Dynaudio Focus: new line of high-end active speakers- The new Focus series replaces the Focus XS series, with a design that is modern both inside and out. The speakers have been developed for those who want to work with a system that is simple, requires no tuning, comes without additional equipment and has a design that fits into contemporary interiors. In the series we see three models: the Focus 10 (a 2-way monitor speaker), the Focus 30 (a 2.5-way floorstanding speaker) and the Focus 50 (a 3-way floorstanding speaker).
The Focus speakers come with their own streaming platform, which gives you access to various streaming services and techniques, including Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Apple AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast, Qplay, UPnP, Netradio and Bluetooth. Roon Ready is also present and even WiSA is built-in so that the speakers can be connected wirelessly with a WiSA transmitter, such as an LG television. In addition, there are coaxial, optical and analog inputs for connecting sources. A subwoofer can also be connected, just like an Ethernet cable. Dirac Live is available for room calibration.
The Focus speakers automatically switch to the active source and when the Smart Grilles are placed, the speakers see this and the equalizer is adjusted accordingly. Operation can be done via the Dynaudio app or with the supplied Bluetooth remote control. In terms of audio quality, Dynaudio has incorporated many proprietary techniques, including the Cerotar tweeter and the same amplifiers the company uses in its professional studio reference monitors.
The Dynaudio Focus models come in four finishes; White High Gloss, Black High Gloss, Walnut Wood and Blonde Wood. You can already go to the store in the Benelux for the speakers. For the Focus 10 you pay 5,000 euros, for the Focus 30 7,500 euros and the Focus 50 will cost you 10,000 euros.
