The AVR-X550BT and AVR-X250BT are, according to Denon models, the perfect first step for beginners in the field of home theaters

The absolute entry-level model is the AVR-X250BT, a 5.1-channel receiver with a capacity of 130 watts per channel, support for 4K Ultra HD content with 60Hz, HDR throughput in the form of HDR10 and HLG, and bluetooth for audio playback. HDMI ARC and HDMI CEC are also present. The receiver has five HDMI inputs (three of which have HDCP 2.2), support for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, and an intelligent ECO mode.

AVR-X550BT also supports 4K Ultra HD, HDR, ARC (Audio Return Channel), CEC and Bluetooth wireless audio streaming, but as an extra we see the support for Dolby Vision. The receiver comes with 5-channel amplification (and 2 subwoofer connections) and a power of 130 watts per channel. Compared to the AVR-X250BT, automatic speaker calibration via a supplied microphone, and a front USB port with MP3, WMA, FLAC and MPEG-4 / AAC files can be added. This model also comes with the Denon 500-series remote app for operation.
