Denon launches the AVC-X6500H, an 11.2-channel receiver, based on the flagship model AVC-X8500H. The receiver offers a capacity of 140 watts per channel and supports the latest standards in the field of audio and video.

The AVC-X6500H is equipped with various new standards and techniques, including AirPlay 2. With AirPlay 2, you can play music on your Apple device and stream to all compatible home speakers and audio systems. You can also choose the music per room and control the playback through Siri and your voice. Ask Siri to skip songs and adjust the volume simply by talking to your iPhone or Apple Watch or giving Alexa the same job through your Amazon Echo device. Thanks to the Amazon Alexa compatibility, you can also control the AV receiver with your voice to turn it on or off, adjust the volume or change source.
The built-in HEOS network technology allows you to stream diverse. You also have access to internet radio and music services such as Spotify, Deezer, Tidal and Amazon Prime Music. The AVC-X6500H can also be used as a HEOS multiroom system with which you can play content on all the wireless speakers at home.
The receiver supports the three-dimensional sound formats Dolby Atmos DTS:X, DTS Virtual:X and Auro-3D. It also features 4K compatibility, Dolby Vision, HDR (High Dynamic Range), HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma), ARC (Audio Return Channel) and eARC (enhanced Audio Return Channel). Video content can also be scaled up to 1080p Full HD or 4K Ultra HD (60/50Hz).
IMAX Enhanced will also be added via a future firmware update. A special IMAX mode has to play digital content exactly as the director has thought up. The AVC-X6500H is finished with eight HDMI inputs, including one on the front panel. In addition, there are three HDMI outputs, you can calibrate the receiver using Audyssey MultEQ XT32 and there is support for high resolution audio (DSD (2.8/5.6 MHz) FLAC, ALAC and WAV).
