The Denon Home Soundbar 550 is a compact soundbar that offers support for Dolby Atmos and DTS: X. via the six drivers on board. The Soundbar can be used as a stand-alone soundbar or included in a network of wireless Denon Home speakers, such as the Denon Home 150, 250 and 350. Those speakers can also be used as rear surround channels. You can also add the DSW-1H wireless subwoofer separately for a deeper bass sound.
Denon Home Soundbar 550
This soundbar is equipped with acoustic hardware, digital signal processing and high-quality drivers and must therefore be able to offer a 3D cinema experience. This is partly due to support for Dolby Atmos, DTS: X and 4K signal throughput. The remote control and Heos app have three Quick Select buttons, which give you quick access to a source with listening modes. You can also save internet radio stations here.
The Soundbar is easy to install and can be operated with the included remote control and most TV remote controls (via e-arc), the Heos app or the illuminated control panel. The soundbar supports Apple AirPlay 2 and there are software drivers for Control4, Creston, URC, Elan and more for integration with popular smart home ecosystems.
In addition to the new Soundbar 550, the Denon Home range consists of three wireless multiroom speakers. All Denon Home models, including the Soundbar 550, provide access to streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music HD, Tidal and more, as well as high-resolution files on phones or networks via Wi-Fi, AirPlay 2 or Bluetooth.
