The best sound meets the iconic McLaren design

Following the success of the Px8 McLaren Edition headphones, Bowers & Wilkins has created a specially designed version of its Zeppelin wireless audio system with an exquisite Galvanic Gray finish and subtle Papaya Orange accents inspired by McLaren Automotive’s corporate image.

Thoroughly reflecting McLaren’s technically and performance-led aesthetic, the Zeppelin McLaren Edition delivers Bowers & Wilkins’ signature True Sound combined with the visual identity of the McLaren brand.

Reinvented for the streaming era

The Zeppelin is a complete stereo system in a single component, specifically an intelligent wireless audio system reinvented for the streaming era. It incorporates mid and high transducers organized in groups dedicated to the left and right channels located around a large central subwoofer powered by 240 W amplification. The result is a room-filling stereo sound unlike any of its competitors.

Improved multi-room capability and new streaming services

Coinciding with the market launch of the new Zeppelin McLaren Edition, Bowers & Wilkins has introduced wireless multi-room capability. The new model and all compatible Zeppelins will now benefit from expanded multi-room compatibility with the Panorama 3 and Formation wireless audio systems. Thanks to this, users of Bowers & Wilkins products will be able to connect and configure their wireless audio systems in different seamlessly

Inspired by 60 years of McLaren

Bowers & Wilkins also announces the release of an even more exclusive and limited production version of the Zeppelin, created to celebrate McLaren’s 60th anniversary and the legacy of Bruce McLaren, of which only sixty units will be manufactured. This is the Zeppelin McLaren 60th Anniversary Edition model.

This limited edition version comes in racing-inspired colors, including a vibrant Papaya Orange finish, giving the Zeppelin’s instantly recognizable silhouette an even more distinctive aesthetic. At the same time, a Speedy Kiwi on the back panel of the product pays tribute to the pioneering vision of Bruce McLaren. The sixty limited edition models are available exclusively at select McLaren dealerships worldwide.

A long-standing collaboration rooted in performance

Since 2015, Bowers & Wilkins has been responsible for developing high-performance audio systems that equip McLaren Automotive’s supercars and hypercars. The partnership is built on strong technical foundations while being based on the shared values of both brands aimed at offering the highest possible performance levels.

More recently, Bowers & Wilkins has worked closely with McLaren’s design and engineering teams to create and optimize the audio system in the company’s latest supercar, the McLaren 750S. Like its predecessors, the 750S incorporates the most advanced speaker technologies of the moment, developed in Southwater, the headquarters of the Bowers & Wilkins research and development team since 2019, and just 50 km from the McLaren Technology Center in Woking.

The Zeppelin McLaren Edition will be available for €899 from October 11 on the Bowers & Wilkins website and at selected dealers, while the limited edition 60th Anniversary model will be available only at selected McLaren dealers.
