Bowers & Wilkins equips Formovie projectors with audio: The British audio brand Bowers & Wilkins will equip the Formovie T1 ultra-short throw projector with an audio system. For now, the projector will only be marketed in China and Bowers & Wilkins says there are currently no plans to extend the partnership outside that market. In Europe, Bowers & Wilkins works together with TP Vision, the company behind Philips televisions.

The Formovie T1 is a projector with a TriColor laser system, equipped with a stereo system consisting of two 70mm glass-fiber LF/MF drivers at the front and two 20mm titanium tweeters located towards the sides. Bowers & Wilkins Flowport technology is also present. The audio system supports Dolby Atmos and DTS HD surround sound.
The projector has an ultra-short throw ratio of 0.23:1 and can display a 100-inch diagonal image from a distance of 20 centimeters from the wall. The unit produces 2800 2800 ANSI lumens of peak brightness and has a contrast ratio of 3000:1. There is also support for HDR10 + and HDR10. Support for Dolby Vision is expected at a later date.
