Gearbox Software released the shooter Borderlands in 2009, which has grown into a large franchise. Borderlands 3 has been in the making for quite some time and of course the fans are waiting with a lot of anxiety. However, it may take a while before the game comes out, as the title most likely will not be available on the E3.
Fans of the franchise now have something else to look forward to, namely a PlayStation 4 release of the original. The Korean authority that provides games with an age rating has assessed Borderlands Game of the Year Edition for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Often, such an assessment means that there is an announcement coming up. Perhaps 2K Games officially announces this issue during the E3.
