The German manufacturer Teufel announced two new bluetooth speakers at IFA 2018: the Teufel Rockster Cross and Rockster Go. Both speakers are portable and have a built-in battery, so you can take them anywhere.

This fourth quarter, two new bluetooth speakers from the German brand Teufel. The Teufel Rock Star Cross is the big model with a price tag of around 300 euros, while the Teufel Rockster Go is the small model with a price tag of around 150 euros. The Cross is splash proof thanks to the IPX5 certificate, while the Go is equipped with an IPX7 variant. De Cross has bluetooth with aptX and nfc for wireless music transfer which according to the brand can be compared with genuine CD quality.

The Teufel Rockster Cross has two tweeters, a subwoofer and two passive drivers under the hood. In addition, it is possible to connect two smartphones, so that you can select the music in turn, and connect two Cross-speakers to each other for StereoConnect. You can also use the Cross as a power bank for your mobile phone thanks to the USB port, there is voice control via Google Assistant and Siri present and the battery must last twenty hours. There is also an aux-input and a supplied carrying strap.

The smaller model announced during this IFA, the Rockster Go, also features bluetooth and has a powerful stereo sound on board thanks to two full-range drivers and a passive subwoofer. This speaker can also handle up to two smartphones at the same time, allowing you to select the music in turn. In addition, there is support for Siri and Google Assistant, the built-in battery lasts up to twelve hours and there is also an aux connection. The exact release dates have not yet been announced.
