DT 700 Pro X / DT 900 Pro X: Similarities and differences
Both headphones are dynamic headphones with circumaural shells – classic over-ears. The difference: the DT 700 Pro X are closed headphones that can be used well at home or in the studio as well as on the go, while the DT 900 Pro X is an open model that primarily uses its strengths in a quiet (studio) environment for listening, mixing and mastering.
Dynamic converters are installed, which are in Heilbronn at Beyerdynamic developed and manufactured will. According to Beyerdynamic, they are characterized by a strong neodymium magnet and a voice coil made of copper-clad high-tech wire. A three-layer membrane with an integrated damping layer should guarantee fast response and distortion-free sound.

The scope of delivery includes a 180 and 300 cm long mini XLR cable, which can be easily changed and supplemented by a 3.5 mm and 6.35 mm stereo jack adapter. The ear cushions are made of velor, the headband is made of soft memory foam, which is supposed to combine a secure fit with good wearing comfort.
Beyerdynamic gives a frequency response of 5 – 40,000 Hertz and a nominal impedance of 48 ohms for both models. Both headphones cost 249 euros.
