BenQ launches affordable GV11 projector with Android TV that offers a resolution of 854 by 480 pixels.

The BenQ GV11 is the little brother of the previously launched GV30 and comes with a similar round design. The beamer weighs 90 grams and offers a resolution of 854 by 480 pixels. The brightness is 200 ansi lumens and the lens can be rotated at an angle of 135 degrees.

BenQ provides the beamer with Android TV, so that apps such as Netflix and Youtube can be used. Also Apple AirPlay, bluetooth and Google Chromecast are supported. Physical connections are available in the form of HDMI and USB.

The GV11 is equipped with a treVolo sound system with 5 watt speakers and comes with a remote control. You can also use the BenQ Smart Control app for control.

The new beamer from BenQ should be for sale from this month for a suggested retail price of 399 euros.
