Inspired by the popular BP40 professional microphone, this new AT2040USB microphone features a dynamic design for excellent voice capture and added USB functionality. Combining the broadcast quality of the AT2040 dynamic podcast microphone with USB plug-and-play functionality makes it the ideal microphone for podcasters, streamers and other content creators to achieve professional results.
Featuring a natural frequency response with rich, powerful bass and clear studio sound, this dynamic microphone showcases its quality with a highly directional hypercardioid pickup pattern that helps eliminate common ambient noise, such as the computer’s ventilation system. With a more focused pickup angle than a cardioid design, the AT2040USB provides a focused vocal pickup that’s ideal and super effective for creators and gamers who broadcast or chat with their followers. The microphone’s robust metal body also has an integrated shock mount to minimize unwanted noise and vibration, and the internal pop filter protects against plosives.
The AT2040USB has a headphone jack for real-time audio monitoring without latency. It also has a quick mute function, with a capacitive touch-sensitive button that allows you to quickly and easily mute the audio on the microphone. A dual-state LED indicator ring glows blue when the microphone is on and ready to pick up audio and glows red when deactivated.
