Finally the time has come; Apple has released iOS 11.4 this week and has also officially brought AirPlay 2 to the users. Both the iPad and the iPhone and the iPod Touch are currently receiving the update, which makes it possible with the new AirPlay standard to set up their own multiroom network. But, which speakers, audio systems, and products that support Apple AirPlay 2?

The most important element of Apple’s AirPlay 2 is that it is now possible to set up a private network with smart speakers. You can connect compatible speakers in multiple rooms and simply control them via your iPhone or iPad. Compatible is of course Apple’s own HomePod speaker but also several other audio manufacturers support the new standard.
