Argon Audio launches new TT-4 record player – The Danish brand Argon Audio has sold over 60,000 turntables in Northern Europe since 2008. Today, the brand claims to be launching the best turntable to date: the Argon Audio TT-4. Until now, the brand mainly sold entry-level models. With the TT-4, Argon Audio also wants to enter the market of midrange record players.
The TT-4 features ATS technology. This is a new patent pending technology that stands for Anisotropic Torsion Stabilizer. Basically, the carbon fiber tonearm initially had some problems with distortions and resonances. The new patented technology, in which a small opening has been placed on the underside of the tonearm, aims to counteract this, eliminating resonances and distortions for a true-to-life sound. According to Argon Audio, this record player performs above expectations in this price category.
Price and availability of TT-4 record player
The Argon Audio TT-4 is available in four colors namely Black Matt Lacquer, White Matt Lacquer, Walnut Veneer and Mahogany Veneer. The new record player has a suggested retail price of 649 euros and is available through the Argon Audio’s website.
