Since the launch of the Apple TV app, which gives you access to the video streaming service Apple TV Plus, Apple has made that application available on a large number of devices. That source also reports that the Sony game console will receive support for HomeKit, but it does not necessarily mean that both apps will be released at the same time.
The Apple TV app therefore offers access to the video streaming service of the Cupertino company. You also get access to the entire iTunes movie library (including all titles in 4k hdr) and partner channels. HomeKit is the company’s smart home platform that automates home devices and more. When the apps should come to the game consoles – and which ones – that has not been announced. Chances are that the app will be released for the Xbox Series X, Series S and PlayStation 5.
