tvOS 16

Apple’s TV platform, tvOS 16, has also been released to the general public. The new version comes with a number of new features and improvements. Firstly, there is now support for Matter , the new smart home standard. In addition, users can now use the Nintendo Switch controllers. There is also now support for HDR10+ and personalized Spatial Audio profiles. Deeper integration of tvOS with iOS, iPadOS and watchOS provides better synchronization and new capabilities. Various smaller improvements have also been made. You can update via Settings > System and then Software Updates. The update is compatible with Apple TV 4K (versions 1 and 2) and Apple TV HD.

watch OS 9

watchOS 9 comes with new watch faces for your Apple Watch. Apple has also added more options for athletes. For example, there are new screen options with activity rings, heart rate zones, running power and altitude. You can also hold a race against yourself when you have run routes more often. This way you get a signal whether you need to run faster to improve your time. Via watchOS 9 you can also receive a notification whether you have taken your medication. Tracking your sleep has also been improved. Check out Apple’s website for a full list of watchOS 9 improvements.
