Apple presents the new Apple TV 4K with A12 Bionic and remote

Apple just presented the new Apple TV 4K at an event with a new processor, color balancing and a new remote will cost 199 euros with 32 GB storage

The new media player replaces it model from 2017 and comes with some improvements. The new Apple TV 4K comes with the faster A12 Bionic chipset. You also know this from the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR, iPad Air 2019 and the iPad Mini from 2019.

The new streaming box supports 4k streams in HDR quality, just like Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Do not expect refresh rates up to 120Hz if you also want to play games with the device. You will have to do it at 60 frames per second.

Another new feature is Color Balance. This allows you to adjust the image through the camera on your iPhone. Think of your iPhone as a calibration method to fine-tune the image. With the camera, light sensor and proximity sensor you can further refine the video output to make the image appear as accurate as possible.

There will also be a new remote control with the just announced Apple TV 4K. This time plenty of physical buttons. The touchpad has been replaced with a click wheel for swipes. There is also a power button and a mute button. And do you want to call up the smart assistant Siri? This is possible with the button on the side.
