Amazon has been releasing tablets for years that are available through Amazon’s website. You can buy them through the German Amazon, among others, but you will not find them on the Dutch site. Amazon’s tablets have never had a Dutch release. This also applies to the new 2022 version of the Amazon Fire 7 tablet, so if you would like to order this tablet, you must do so via a detour.
Anyway, this budget tablet will be available from the end of June from 64.99 euros (with ads). You get a MediaTek processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB or 32 GB of storage memory. The storage memory is expandable with a micro SD card up to 1 TB. The tablet has a 7-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1,024 by 600 pixels. You can charge this time via the USB-C connection and the battery life is about ten hours. The voice assistant Amazon Alexa is also part of the party.
The tablet is equipped with a two-megapixel rear camera. It allows you to shoot videos in 720p. On board we find the operating system Fire OS 8. That is based on Android 11, but comes standard without the Google Play Store. Instead, you have Amazon’s software shell and the web store giant’s own app store.
Price and availability of Amazon 2022 Fire 7 tablet
The tablet is included with the German Amazon available with a starting price of 64.99 euros and will be available at the end of June. The following configurations are available:
