Introducing Advance Paris WTX-Tubes: A bluetooth receiver with the tubes in the output stage to provide a certain analog sound flair.

Advance Paris WTX-Tubes – Technology

The compact receiver is equipped with an aptX HD Bluetooth receiver and a D / A converter from Wolfson. So that it doesn’t sound quite so “digital”, it was equipped with an analog output stage in Class A design Miniature tubes (Raytheon 5703) lost. In this way, the analog cinch outputs should produce a sound with – according to the press release – a certain warmth and a “pronounced harmonic composition”.

In addition to the analog outputs, there is also an optical and a coaxial digital output. Here – logically – the tube section is not in the signal path. What should not be missing, of course: A small, front-side viewing window allows a view of the cozy, orange-colored tube light.
